The wave spring is a newly designed spiral produced with high-precision construction techniques. This spring, thanks to its honeycomb structure, guarantees excellent planarity on the clutch thrust faces and tolerates high loads of up to 200 kg. The Polini wave spring is calibrated as standard to have a load of 80 kg, which can be modified thanks to the setting shims available in the package, which allow you to vary the load up to 200 kg of thrust. The spring is perfectly housed in the clutch hub prepared with a special centering seat. The clutch hub and the pressure plates are made of nitrided steel machined from solid. The clutch discs have been improved with a material that increases the friction coefficient to improve their grip under stress. The FOR RACE clutch is made of 4 steel discs coated with cork friction material (thickness 1.9 mm) and 3 steel discs (thickness 1 mm) and assembly is recommended for original or tuned engines up to 15 HP. The EVOLUTION clutch is made up of 4 steel discs coated with high-performance sintered friction material (1.9 mm thick) and three steel discs (1 mm thick) and assembly is recommended for tuned engines above 15 HP.
