Forging, mechanical processing, numerous heat treatments and centering performed on each individual piece guarantee a very high standard of quality and reliability. The connecting rod, also obtained by forging, has been designed to guarantee maximum reliability even in the most severe conditions of use, numerous notches and lubrication holes made on the foot and big end of the connecting rod allow greater lubrication of the roller cages, the silver-plated ones at the head, reducing friction and wear to a minimum. Pinasco crankshafts for Vespa are the result of numerous tests on the test bench and on the road, the innovative design of the wedge-shaped intake shoulder, the choice of materials, the attention to detail and assembly, make this Pinasco product an object of superior quality.
