This problem is particularly pronounced in GDI engines since, unlike PFI systems, in this configuration the injectors are placed directly in the combustion chamber. By working in high temperature conditions, in close contact with the burnt gases, they are therefore more subject to the accumulation of carbon residues which compromise their regular functioning. Deposits can also cause valves to stick, thus altering the correct fuel/air ratio and therefore combustion efficiency. When the fuel system becomes dirty, not only does the engine performance decrease in terms of driveability and response, but there is also increased consumption and particulate emissions. SOLUTION Top Gasoline REPOWER contains a special package of detergents and dispersants which allow the deposits accumulated on the injectors, valves, combustion chamber and upper part of the pistons to be effectively removed in a single treatment, restoring the regular functioning of the fuel system and consequently the energy efficiency of the engine. USE HOW TO USE A 250 ml pack treats approximately 50-60 liters of petrol. For better mixing with the fuel, it is recommended to pour the additive into the tank just before refueling.
