COIL TESTER FOR VESPA LAMBRETTA MOTO GUZZI SCOOTER. INSTRUCTIONS: THE TESTER HAS TWO CONNECTIONS AT THE TWO ENDS, ONE MUST BE CONNECTED IN PLACE OF THE SPARK PLUG NEAR THE PIPE AND THE OTHER END (THE CLAMP) MUST BE GROUNDED NEAR THE ENGINE. - FOR EVERYTHING TO BE OK, THE SPARK HIGHLIGHTED BY THE TESTER MUST BE ABOUT 2 CM LONG AND LINEAR BLUE-VIOLET IN COLOR - DETECTING A RED AND/OR IRREGULAR SPARK MEANS THAT THE COIL IS WORN OR DEFECTIVE. - IN INJECTION ENGINES, THE DISTANCE OF THE TESTER TIPS MUST BE ADJUSTED IN RELATION TO THE DIFFERENT COMPRESSION INDICES. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THESE INDICES, TRY IF POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN THE SPARK AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. IF NOT, THE COIL IS NOT VALID.
